Haha Simon. I really just don't see the appeal of this thing, and it's not anti-Apple sentiments (I have a Macbook, which I love). If you want to get something serious done, you are far better off with a Nokia or similar smart-phone.
I think they're useful for people who are constantly on the move - if you're going to meetings all day it's a hassle to carry a laptop around everywhere and then have to boot it up whilst you're in the car, sitting in a restaurant, or wherever. I wouldn't say you can get much work (input) done on one, but you can get a lot of information out of it, checking your email, etc.

To be honest I've never got the whole deal with smart phones. If you're that busy why not just get a laptop?
